Samples reach 51 or 53 inches high.
Yes, widths start around 28.5 inches and extend to about 49 inches.
At least one listing states it is not a baby gate.
All samples use pressure mounting rather than hardware.
An extra tall cat gate is a pressure-mounted barrier reaching 51 to 53 inches high, built to stop cats that clear standard gates. The extra height removes the launch point a climber needs, so the gate works where a 30-inch barrier fails.
Standard dog gates top out around 30 inches, which a determined cat treats as a hurdle. Extra tall dog gates reach higher but often come in wider spans and heavier frames meant for large dogs. Cat-height gates keep the tall barrier in narrower widths suited to doorways and hallways.
These gates run 51 or 53 inches tall and fit openings from roughly 28.5 to 49 inches wide depending on the model. White is the finish across the samples.
Auto-close and pressure mounting appear on every sample, and at least one listing states it is not a baby gate. Walk-through swinging and doorway or stairway placement are the common use cases.
